Microsoft has announced a number of interesting updates for Study and Learn Agent, the AI learning coach within Microsoft 365 Copilot. The aim remains the same: to help pupils learn without simply giving them the answers. The agent guides them, asks questions and encourages pupils to think for themselves.
What’s new?
🌍 Available in 50 languages
Pupils can now study in their own language and even switch between languages during a conversation. Ideal for language teaching and multilingual classroom environments.
🖼️ Support with images
For subjects such as biology, geography or science, Study and Learn can now display relevant images to explain concepts more clearly.
🚀 Ready straight away when Copilot opens
For pupils with access to Copilot Chat, Study and Learn is automatically suggested. This means they can get started straight away.
📝 Ready-made learning prompts
Microsoft provides sample prompts to help pupils study more effectively, practise and receive feedback on their work.

Why is this of interest to schools?
Study and Learn Agent is increasingly evolving into a personal learning coach that supports pupils without taking over the learning process. This makes it a powerful tool for schools that wish to use AI in a pedagogically sound way.
The student thinks. The AI guides. 🚀
